Today the cafeteria staff showcased a Noodle Bowl station. There was live cooking and an action station with fresh veggies that you could customize your ramen noodle bowl with. There was oodles of noodles today!

Tips at CMS to help arrival and dismissal go smoothly for the first day of school tomorrow, August 16th! ( See the attached map) Doors open at 7:10 a.m. School starts at 7:45 a.m. and dismissal is 2:55 p.m. We can't wait to welcome our braves back into our building.

Your student is invited on an upcoming educational travel experience abroad! We are thrilled to inform you that our school is organizing multiple exciting trips for our students, offering them valuable educational and experiential opportunities. We welcomed all staff back this week with the annual USD 204 Convocation event! We heard from our friends at the Chamber of Commerce, the Bonner Springs/Edwardsville Education Foundation distributed Walmart gift cards to all teachers, counselors, and nurses, and First State Bank & Trust presented the district with earnings from the School Spirit Debit Card Program! The event wrapped up with celebrations, honoring our longest-serving staff and welcoming the new faces to our USD 204 family. Finally, Superintendent Rick Moulin shared his vision for the year ahead, and staff shared their own excitement to be entering a new BRAVE era!

We look forward to welcoming back all our students! Back to School Night is Wednesday, August 14th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This event is come and go. You will go to your Advisory Teacher's classroom to get your schedule (Advisory Teacher will be posted at school), drop off your supplies, find your locker, and meet your teachers! Cotton Candy will be available for purchase, $2 each (Cash Only). Brave Spirit wear will also be available for purchase!(Cash or Card Accepted)

The 6th grade students will have an opportunity to meet their teachers, open their lockers, learn about middle school expectations, and tour the building. Students should bring their school supplies with them so they can organize their lockers that day. 6th grade students only and their parents are welcome to attend.

Our enrollment fair kicks off today at Bonner Springs High School! Take care of all your back to school tasks, enroll your new or returning student, and pick up FREE school supplies from 1-8 PM. You can also stop in tomorrow from 8 AM - noon!

We're looking forward to welcoming BRAVE families to our enrollment fair next week! All NEW students, preschool-12th grade, will enroll during this time. Returning families that need support, internet access, or have questions, are also encouraged to stop in. In addition to our enrollment stations, we will have... ✏️School supplies for those in need - courtesy of our incredible community partners (while supplies last!). 🍎Food service staff will be available to accept applications for free/reduced meals. 🚌Transportation staff will be available to sign students up for bus routes. 📱District staff will be available to answer questions about the new USD 204 app and the Rooms platform. 🏀Staff from our 6-12th grade athletics department will be available for team sign-ups, collecting physicals/paperwork, and answering questions. 💙Local community organizations will be in attendance sharing resources and helping families and students prepare for the new school year. The event will take place Tuesday, August 6th from 1 - 8 PM and Wednesday, August 7th from 8 AM - 12 PM at Bonner Springs High School (100 McDanield St, Bonner Springs, KS 66012).
