6th grade students went to Junior Achievement of Great Kansas City's BizTown this week! Students were able to become a JA BizTown citizen and assume a job in one of 20 different businesses. Students got to experience economics first-hand by producing and/or selling products, receiving a paycheck, working as a member of a business team, repaying a business loan, shopping, and managing a personal bank account.

🎙️ New Episode of Talk 204! Superintendent Rick Moulin sits down with longtime Bonner Springs leader Dr. Jerry Abbott—retiring after years of dedicated service to USD 204 and the Bonner Springs/Edwardsville Education Foundation—and Lisa Terrell, a proud BSHS alum who has dedicated more than three decades to supporting students as a beloved counselor and is now stepping into her new role as Foundation Director. Together, Rick, Jerry, and Lisa reflect on decades of shared commitment to students and the community. They talk about the Foundation’s incredible growth under Dr. Abbott’s leadership, the power of giving back, and how community support continues to open doors for USD 204 students. It’s a heartfelt conversation about legacy, leadership, and the enduring spirit that makes Bonner Springs and Edwardsville such special places to call home. 🧡🖤 🔗 https://rss.com/podcasts/talk204/2264249/
