Our annual Tomahawk Trot fundraiser is Tuesday, October 15th! The Tomahawk Trot is our only school fundraiser where we ask our students, parents, community, and staff members to participate in to raise money for student centered activities. The students will walk or run approximately 2.6 miles on a route through Bonner Springs. Each participant who collects or donates $20.00 will receive a t-shirt, participate in the walk/run, and enjoy snacks after the run. If you haven't done so, please make your donations as soon as possible. We appreciate your support for our students!

We had the honor of surprising the district's two nominees for the Kansas Horizon Award in their classrooms today! Through reviewing staff, student, and parent feedback along with building administrator recommendations, the district selected Ali Mohney, FACS teacher at Clark Middle School, and Sarah Alas, 2nd grade teacher at Delaware Ridge Elementary, to represent USD 204 in the 2025 program. The Horizon Award, sponsored by the KS State Department of Education, identifies and recognizes representatives of excellent teaching in the elementary and secondary classrooms having completed their first year of teaching in a PreK-12 Kansas school. Congratulations to our BRAVE educators! Both are excellent representatives of their schools, our district, and the community.
