Clark Middle School 7th grade science classes have been patiently incubating chicken eggs, and the big moment is here...hatching day! Students have been learning about embryology, genetics, and body systems throughout this hands-on project. Now they’re ready to see the results as chicks begin to hatch!

Yesterday the Scholar Bowl teams competed in their final competition of the season at Woodland Middle School. Each student did a great job this year and performed well again last night.
One of our teams came away with 2nd place in their division. Congratulations to Braydon Bui, Lucas Morgan, Brayden Ross, Elijah Campbell, Jeiah Payne, and Emely Agudelo Castaneda for their hard work and strong finish to the season.
I am very proud of all of our Scholar Bowl participants this year. They represented our school well, worked hard to improve their knowledge, and gained valuable competition experience throughout the season.
The team of Elijah Campbell, Anabel Lee, Liam Shirley, Lillian Wood, Isen Callahan, Camerson Stephenson, and Zach Bond earned third place in their competition. Congratulations to them on a strong performance!
The second team—Braydon Bui, Braydon Ross, Lucas Morgan, Adria Palmer, Emely Agudelo Castaneda, and Jeiah Payne—had many close matches throughout the event and came close to adding even more wins to their record.
We are proud of all of these students for representing Clark Middle School so well. They will compete one final time on March 4th. Good luck to both teams!
Today Ms. Mohney's Intro to FAID class took their learning outside and officially kicked off their Hand Sewing Monster Project! Students started designing and stitching their very own monsters while enjoying some fresh air. Creativity is in full swing and we can’t wait to see these little creatures come to life! 👾✂️

These students participated in a highly competitive audition process alongside middle school singers from across Kansas, and being chosen for this ensemble is an incredible honor. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to musical excellence have earned them the opportunity to represent CMS and USD 204 at the state level.
