❄️ Winter Break begins tomorrow, December 20th for all USD 204 students. School resumes on Tuesday, January 7th. Wishing everyone a joyful and safe break! See you in the new year, BRAVES! 🎉

Please join us tonight (Monday, 12/16) at Braves Fieldhouse to ring in the Holiday season with the CMS Bands and Choirs. Performance will start at 7:00PM and will include some Holiday Favorites!

📚✨ Over the past month, Clark Middle School students have been part of the "Reading Buddies" program, meeting twice a week to practice reading fluency and expression. The program wrapped up with a heartwarming trip to McDaniel Preschool, where they shared their love of books and stories with our youngest learners.

Next week is our last Holiday Spirit Days. If your student would like to participate, see the attached Calendar for more information.

📅 The USD 204 Board of Education has approved the Academic Calendars for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 school years. The district is adopting a two-calendar approval process to give families and staff more time to plan ahead. Stay prepared—download your copies now ➡️ https://bit.ly/4faUYdv

Before heading off for break, our students showed the true spirit of giving! 🧡 McDanield Preschoolers delivered over 240 food items to Vaughn-Trent Community Services, and students across the district came together to prepare Thanksgiving meal kits for Feed His Lambs. We’re so proud of their generosity. THANK YOU to our staff and families for supporting the various food drives during the holiday season, helping us make a big impact in our community!

During the month of November, CMS raised money for supplies to make green bean casseroles for Feed His Lambs Ministry. FCCLA packed the casserole kits this morning, that will be distributed to local families this Thanksgiving season! Thank you for your generosity and contributing to our community!

Congratulations to our October students of the month! These students demonstrated the BRAVE character trait of ACCOUNTABILITY.

🪨🍬 6th grade science took a sweet trip through the rock cycle with Airheads in "Airhead Valley"! Starting as igneous rocks, students ripped up their Airheads to create "sediment," compacted and cemented it into sedimentary rocks, then added heat to transform them into metamorphic rocks! Hands-on (and tasty) science at its best! 🔥
